Our Management Team

Terry and Wanda Wolff

Terry commenced his career with Hastings Deering as an Apprentice Diesel Fitter.  During his tenure he received a Queensland State award for Apprentice of the Year (Diesel Fitting).    

Wanda completed a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Psychology) before commencing a career in property development and civil contracting. 

Terry and Wanda showed early evidence of the ability and desire to do well and demonstrated it via hard work and persistence.   Wolff Group has built a workforce founded on these attributes.

In 2009 Terry and Wanda jointly invested to buy out the co-owner of a business they had been involved in since 2005.  Together, they took full control of the company’s assets and contracts.   They grew the company dramatically, consolidating and acquiring long term contracts with multi national resource companies including BMA, Yancoal, Wesfarmers and Peabody Energy.  

From an original staff of 2, fleet of 6, Terry and Wanda have grown the business to become what it is today – staff numbers exceed 110 and a fleet of 66.

 

Joe Stark – Wolff Group General Manager

Joe Stark became involved with Wolff in 2008.  Joe is an experienced strategic manager who specializes in company structures and corporate governance.  Joe spent over ten years in management positions in the National Australia Bank working in numerous regional areas.  

Prior to joining the Wolff Group, for the ten year period commencing 2001 Joe was General Manager of the Craig Black Group. 

Joe brings to the Wolff Group experience and expertise in high level due diligence and opportunity recognition, cash flow management and financing, and implementation of strategic and operational business plans and objectives.

Shane Dennis – Operations Manager

Shane has over 15 years experience in operational management roles domestically and globally.   Prior to commencing with the Wolff Group Shane was responsible for a range of projects for Wagners Global including the Goro Nickel Project in New Caledonia, the Christmas Island IRPC Project and several large scale greenfields projects on Sakhalin Island in Far East Russia.   During his tenure with Wagners Shane also managed a wide range of projects in Queensland and New South Wales including coal haulage, contract crushing and mining. 

Shane’s trade qualifications together with broad operational experience, provides a high level of expertise in the areas of logistics management, equipment utilisation, profit maximisation and production methodology.
